Summit Walks

Really we weren't really summit walking after we found out that we were geocaching. Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt. Geocaches can be located using a GPS. Inside some people put in small treasures to be replaced with yours if you want to. Some geocaches are multi caches witch you need to answer some questions to get the coordinates. The main rule is: Watch out for muggles. This means not to spoil it for others.

Firstly, we went to the grampians to warm everyone up. The were extremely unexpected places were they are put. We found 4 of them. All spread around the area in the most bizarre places but don't bother digging for one, They cant be  underground, its against the rules.

The next week we went to the centre of New Zealand but instead of taking a turn to the top we were  herded to the next geocache. To get to it we dodged gorse while sliding down a massive land slide. That was the funnest one ever.

Then we went around town. It was especially hard to keep it secret from others. There was a multicache there but we put in the wrong coordinates.

For our final geocaching trip we went to the marina. I found one here called "cant take the strain"

I have enjoyed my time at passions and I hope hope that it continues next term too.
