My Speech

Cars Are Killing The Earth
Do you want the earth to stay healthy? Let's start with transport.
People spend too much time in their cars and often when they are in them they are alone. You can save other peoples fuel by inviting jimmy's soccer mates to come with him to soccer.
Whenever you see a car you can think about the gases it lets out. These include:
Carbon Dioxide
Carbon Monoxide
Sulphur Dioxide
Oxides Of Nitrogen
Those are some of the major gases let out by a car.

In year 2000 already 400,000,000 cars were on the road. Nowadays, there are over 750,000,000!!!
It is estimated that in year 2040 there will be over double the amount of today!!!

If cars were more expensive then more people would choose public transport. Also with the expansion of families car dealers are getting more and more profit only to clog up the the roads and turn earth into venus.

saving fuel is a good start to saving the earth. here are some simple ways to save fuel:
  • closing your windows at speeds over 55mph to maintain a good aerodynamic profile
  • deflating your tires by %10 will increase rolling resistance
  • warming up Your engine will consume less fuel and is will stay warm for half an hour
20% of all the gas is taken in by the sea. Another 20% is taken in by mother nature leaving 60% to hack away at the o-zone layer scaring it and embracing the greenhouse effect.
If in 2040 the amount of cars will be doubled traffic will become extremely overcrowded and cars wont get you anywhere. If we use public transport it will rapidly decrease traffic maybe even lower than it is now. By that time If cars were for the rich than bus ect. would probably be cheaper to ride on because of all the profit they'd be making.

Hopefully you now know the dangers that cars bring and i leave you this last question.
How could YOU contribute to the earth's survival?
