Facts about the universe
  • Mars gets its name from a heavy coat of rusted powdery iron, iron oxide.
  • Uranus is the only planet that spins sideways
  • The solar system is said to be approximately 4.6 giga-years
  • Almost thirty space probes reached the moon before any human did.
  • In space there is no way for sound to travel but with most movies they make noises to make them interesting.
  • A full moon is 9 times brighter than a crescent 
  • Gravity is what keeps the earth in orbit.
  • There is a telescope the size of a bus called the Hubble space telescope the size of a bus constantly taking photos of planets in space.
Questions
  • How do asteroid fields form?
  • What/who started the belief that there is such things as aliens?
  • Approximately how much does it cost to make the average space ship?
  • What starts up black holes?
  • Is NASA hiding anything from us? e.g. an existing planet which contains life.
